PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
This refractometer is for measuring the sugar content of beer & wine.
This refractometer features ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation) for accurate readings (10 - 30 degree Celsius).
A refractometer is easier & more accurate than a hydrometer for measuring sugars.
Simply use the dropper to take a sample & place it on the prism, then hold the refractometer up to the light & look through the eyepiece.
Due to the dual scale there is no need convert to specific gravity as the scale measures both Brix and SG.

GENERAL REFRACTOMETER INFO:
A sugar Refractometer for measuring the specific gravity or Brix of unfermented wine & beer.
Works like a hydrometer except you only need a few drops & there is no need to cool a trial jar of liquid before taking a reading.
Using a refractometer lets you check the progress of your brew so you can make adjustments along the way.
Apply 2-3 drops to the prism face, close cover & wait 30s. Look through the eye-piece - the line on the screen will show the Brix %.
